Sheets, docs & dashboards

From an answer to something you can share.

An answer in a conversation is where the work starts. With BumbleB Crunch™ you turn it into a story people read, a dashboard that stays current, or a sheet you keep working — with a co-pilot beside it.

From a conversation

Share this as a story, a dashboard or a sheet

Under an answer that drew a chart, Share this as offers three ways to carry it on.

Story

A data story people can read

The finding laid out with its charts and figures. Publish it to your team, or share a link that lets anyone read it without signing in.

Publish a story →

Dashboard

Tiles that stay current

Pin charts from your conversations as tiles, choose the layout, and click a chart to filter the rest. Reword and rearrange after publishing; the numbers stay as they were counted.

Publish a dashboard →

Sheet

The data behind the chart, as a grid

Open an answer’s data as a sheet to group, filter and add columns of your own — then chart it again or pin it to a dashboard.

Sheets →

The sheet co-pilot

Ask, and the sheet changes

A sheet opens with a co-pilot beside it. Say what you want to see and it changes the sheet in front of you — and tells you whether each change landed.

“Group by channel and split by month”

The view regroups, with totals for the columns shown.

“Only the orders over $100, newest first”

Filtered and sorted, in place.

“Add a column for the margin”

A new column, worked out from your words.

It can also save what you’re looking at as a table of its own, or explain what a sheet holds. Switch any table between Grid and Chart, and pin a chart to a dashboard.

Or start from + New

A sheet, a doc or a dashboard, from scratch

+ New sits under New conversation. Start from a file, a dataset or a blank page, then add what you need.

Sheet

Upload a file and it opens as a sheet the moment it lands, or open one of your datasets. Start blank and paste rows from a spreadsheet, add a dataset, or copy in another sheet’s table.

Doc

A document to write in, with a summary and an appendix to start. Add sections, notes and tables from your data, and pin charts and figures from your analyses.

Dashboard

Starts empty. Add tiles and tables from your data, or pin charts to it from your conversations.

Data home

Everything you made, and where it came from

Your datasets, sheets, docs, dashboards and saved queries live together in Data. On plans that include it, the lineage explorer shows how each dataset was built — so a number on a dashboard can be traced back to its source. A SQL console is there too, with each result as a table or a chart.
