1. About these Terms

1.1 Who we are. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between BumbleB Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India ("BumbleB", “we”, “us”), and the customer that uses the Service ("you"). If you accept these Terms for an organisation, “you” means that organisation.

1.2 What the Service is. Service means BumbleB Crunch: the tracking tag, analytical engine, APIs, dashboards, integrations and documentation we provide. The Service collects behaviour data from your websites through a tracking tag, connects to data you provide, and answers your questions about it in plain language, with charts and tables as supporting evidence.

What it doesn’t cover. When a company uses BumbleB, we process its Customer Content — including Visitor Data about people who visit its website — on that company’s behalf and only on its instructions. That processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement with the company and by the company’s own privacy notice. If you visited a website that uses BumbleB, or you use BumbleB through your employer, please contact that company about your data. We’ll help them answer you.

What this policy covers. This policy explains how BumbleB handles personal data where we decide how and why it’s used — as a “controller” or, in India, a “Data Fiduciary”. That means your Account Data, information from our own website, the creation of Usage Data, and your own personal data in an individual account (one you hold yourself, not through a company). In an individual account, Visitor Data and any data you upload about other people are yours to control: we process them for you under our Data Processing Agreement, as we do for a company.

1. Parties, scope and precedence

1.1 This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) is between the BumbleB entity named in the Terms of Service or the Order Form — by default BumbleB Technologies Pvt Ltd (“BumbleB”) — and the customer that has agreed to BumbleB’s Terms of Service (“Customer”).

1.2 This DPA forms part of the Terms of Service for every Customer, on paid plans, free plans and free trials alike. It applies without signature. A copy signed by BumbleB is available as a PDF at https://bumbleb.co/legal/dpa.pdf for Customers whose procurement process requires one.

BumbleB Technologies Pvt Ltd (“BumbleB”) uses the third parties below to help provide the Service. This list covers every vendor that processes Customer Content, plus the vendors that handle Account Data only, listed in Section 4. Each one processes Customer Content or Personal Data only to provide its service to BumbleB, under written data-protection terms consistent with the protections in BumbleB’s Data Processing Agreement. BumbleB remains liable for their performance.

What changed

2026.3: effective 10 October 2026

The first version published on bumbleb.co. Compared with 2026.2:

Individual accounts: BumbleB decides how your own account details are used. Data about your website’s visitors and other people stays under your control, and BumbleB processes it for you under the Data Processing Agreement.
Usage Data: the Privacy Policy explains plainly that creating Usage Data uses personal data, but the record kept doesn’t, and how to withdraw or object.
No training: Usage Data is the only data derived from your content that is used to train anything.
“Report a bug”: a conversation is sent only when you send it with “Report a bug”, after you are shown how it will be used. A thumbs-down no longer sends a conversation.
India: individual users choose separately whether BumbleB may learn from an identity-free record of how its tools ran, and whether it may re-check recent sessions. Both are off unless you turn them on. Grievances are resolved within one month. The Grievance Officer is named.
AI providers: requests through OpenRouter go to OpenAI only, with zero data retention required.
Retention: visitor data, uploaded files and connected data are added to the retention tables.
Disputes: arbitration is administered by the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration, seated in Bengaluru.
Our website: describes our cookie banner, Global Privacy Control and “Cookie settings”.

Lists OpenAI text embeddings for search as a planned use, not starting before 8 November 2026.
