Not everyone on your team needs to see the bill. Roles let you give people exactly the access their job needs: an analyst can use Crunch without being able to cancel the subscription, while your operations lead can manage seats and invoices. There are three roles — owner, admin and member.

In short:
- Members use Crunch, and can open the hub to see their own profile and usage.
- Admins use Crunch and, by default, help run the account.
- The owner can do everything, including deciding what each admin can do and removing members.
The owner
The person who signs up is the owner.
Adjusting what an admin can do
The “(by default)” in the table matters. An owner can turn an admin’s capabilities — the individual permissions in the table — on or off one by one. For example, an admin could manage users without being able to change the plan.
Nobody can change their own capabilities.
Tip: You can see your own role and what it lets you do on your Profile.
