Invite teammates

Add people to your Team plan, choose their role, and remove someone when they leave.

Crunch is more useful when the people who ask the questions can ask them directly — your marketing lead, your ops manager, a co-founder — instead of routing everything through you. Inviting them gives each person their own access, and you choose what each of them can do.

What you’ll need

  • A Team plan. Inviting is for Team plans; a Starter plan has one seat (one person). See pricing.
  • A free seat for each person. Members plus pending invites can’t exceed the seats you have. You can add seats under Subscriptions.
  • Permission to invite. See Roles for who can invite and manage users.

Step by step

  1. In the hub, open Users and click + Invite Member.
  2. Enter their email address.
  3. Choose a role — Member or Admin. For an admin, also choose what they may do; each capability is explained in Roles.
  4. Click Send Invite.

What your teammate sees

They get an email with Accept invitation in it. The invitation is valid for 14 days, and they must sign in with the same email address you invited.

Heads up: If they sign in with a different address — a personal Gmail instead of their work email, say — it won’t match the invitation. Invite the address they’ll actually use.

If the invite has expired or got lost, sending it again refreshes it.

Good to know

  • Seats limit invites. Members plus pending invites count against your seats, so an invite nobody has accepted still holds one. Add seats under Subscriptions.
  • One organization at a time. A person belongs to one organization at a time.

Removing someone

When someone leaves, an owner can choose Remove from Organization:

  • they lose access immediately;
  • their seat is freed for someone else;
  • their usage history is kept, so your records stay complete.

If you invite them back later, they get the same account back.
