If you’re paying for Crunch through a company, you’ll usually want the company’s name, tax number and address on your invoices — that’s what most finance teams need to file them. Business Details is where you enter them. It’s optional, but once your details are approved you also get a one-time credit and, on a Team plan, room to grow past three seats.
What you’ll need
Your company’s information to hand:
- business name;
- business type;
- registration number;
- tax ID / GSTIN (GSTIN is India’s GST registration number);
- address.
Step by step
- In the hub, open Business Details.
- Fill in your business name, type, registration number, tax ID / GSTIN and address.
- Click Save Business Details.
Saving sends your details for review. It is usually reviewed within a business day.
How to tell it worked
Once your details are approved, three things change:
- They appear on your invoices, so every invoice you download from Billing carries your company’s details.
- Your account gets a one-time credit. Credits pay for usage beyond what your plan includes — see Credits.
- A Team plan can grow past 3 seats. A seat is one person on the plan. While your details are awaiting review, an account is limited to 3.
Good to know
- Changing your details starts a new review. If you edit them later — a new address, say — they’re sent for review again.
- Planning a bigger team? If you expect more than three people on a Team plan, save your business details early so the review is done by the time you need the extra seats. Plans and seat ranges are on pricing.
