You connect your website, your store or the files you already export, and ask questions the way you’d ask a colleague — “why were enquiries weak in March?” rather than a query. It works out what to count, reads your data, and answers. Every answer says how it read your question and how it counted, so you can check it rather than take it on trust.
What it will do
- Investigate across several datasets. A dataset is one body of data — your website’s visits, an exported orders file, your ad spend. Crunch can bring more than one into the same question.
- Plan the hard questions with you, when a question needs several steps before it can be answered.
- Write up what a conversation found, so you have something to share.
- Say plainly what your data can’t answer, instead of guessing.
What it won’t do
- Invent a figure your data doesn’t hold. If the data can’t support a number, Crunch says so.
- Give investment advice.
- Change your data. It only reads.
