If you already work in Claude, you can ask your data questions there instead of switching to Crunch. Crunch is a remote MCP server — MCP is the standard way Claude connects to outside tools — so once you add it, Claude can use Crunch to answer questions like “how’s activation trending?”.
The server URL is:
https://sequoia.bumbleb.co/mcp
What you’ll need
- A Crunch account, and Claude Code, Claude Desktop or claude.ai.
Add it to claude.ai and Claude Desktop
- On claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it
Sequoiaand enter the URL above. - It appears under + in any conversation. Claude Desktop picks it up from your claude.ai account, so there’s nothing more to do there.
Add it to Claude Code
Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http sequoia https://sequoia.bumbleb.co/mcpAdd
--scope userto have it in every project, or--scope projectto share it with your team through.mcp.json.If
claude mcp listshows Needs authentication, run/mcpin a session, picksequoia, choose Authenticate, and approve in the browser. When you see ✔ Connected, it’s ready.
How to tell it worked
Just ask: “how’s activation trending?”. Claude calls Crunch and answers from your data.
Tip: To skip the permission prompt each time, allow mcp__sequoia__* in
.claude/settings.json.
If it doesn’t connect
- Run
curl -I https://sequoia.bumbleb.co/mcp. A 404 or 405 means the server is up; 401 or 403 means it wants you to sign in; nothing at all means a network problem or a typo. - Check for a stray space in a pasted URL.
- If it’s slow to start, run
MCP_TIMEOUT=60000 claude. - No MCP servers configured means you are in a different project from the one where you added it.
