Every figure in an answer has a table or chart behind it, and you can open it, take it with you, or trace it back to where it came from. That matters when you want to paste a chart into a deck, check the rows yourself before you quote a number, or hand a colleague the exact query that made it.
What you’ll need
- An answer with at least one figure — see Ask Crunch about your data.
- For the data behind a figure (⛁): Data home, which is on Team plans (see pricing).
Open, copy or download a figure
- In the answer, click the ↗ after a figure. Its table or chart opens in the side panel.
- To take it with you, use Copy or Download in the panel header.
See the data behind a figure
- Click the ⛁ beside a ↗.
- You’ll see where the data came from, its rows a page at a time, the SQL that made it, and a box to run your own SQL on it.
To look at the whole dataset a chart was drawn from, click Explore data in the chart’s panel header.
Good to know
- Tip: If you want every chart from a conversation in one place, the Report agent gathers a conversation’s charts into one document.
